HERBARIUM OF THE MUSEUM OF GRENOBLE

State of knowledge of the herbarium of the Museum of Grenoble (GRM)



This catalog, presented in the form of cards, synthesizes the knowledge concerning the different herbaria present, the first collection of which arrived officially in 1801 of which arrived officially in 1801. Besides the herbaria of Dominique Villars (1745-1814), Casimir Arvet-Touvet (1841-1913) and Pierre Auguste Mutel (1795-1847) in particular, collections of various sizes and presentations make up this ensemble with a strong Dauphin and Alpine identity.

Intended for botanists as well as the curious of all things, this document is intended to be completed as the study of the collections of their documentation, and the arrival of other collections. After a first version in 2017, it is a second version that has been put online in 2021.

Citizen Sciences: call for project proposals Les Herbonautes 2021


The Herbonautes platform launches, for the 5th year, its call for projects to contribute to your research projects.

Since its creation at the end of 2012, the Herbonautes has digitized over 500,000 specimens, accounting for over 6.3 million contributions.
In previous calls, 35 projects were rewarded by The Herbonautes . The datasets produced were used in various scientific programs and published in French and foreign journals.

Applications must be submitted before January 31, 2022 noon (Paris time) to contact@recolnat.org .

RECOLNAT on the research infrastructures national roadmap 2021


We are pleased to announce that the RECCOLNAT infrastructure is included in the of research infrastructures national roadmap 2021 of the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI). RECOLNAT was already included in the 2016 roadmap, and now it has been awarded the IR (research infrastructure) label for the second time. The national roadmap for Research Infrastructures is a strategic piloting tool for the government. The inclusion of an infrastructure on the national roadmap represents a quality label and a recognition of its value in the national research strategy.

A research infrastructure is thus a tool or device with unique characteristics identified by the scientific community as necessary for conducting high-level research activities. The scientific communities that are included can be national, european or international.

5th Herbarium Day of the RECOLNAT botanical network



Thank you all for your participation, interresting discussions, and engagment at the 5th Herbarium Day of the RECOLNAT botanical network, that took place on october 5th.
